Met dank aan het professioneel en betrokken handelen van de Nederlandse autoriteiten, rechtbanken en jeugdzorg in het belang van zoon Andrew, zijn de Australische vader Ken Thompson en zijn zoon Andrew vanochtend vroeg – na een drie jaar durende afwezigheid en een zoektocht van 6.500 km per fiets van vader Ken door heel Europa – op grond van het Haags Kinderontvoeringsverdrag weer samen veilig en goed thuis aangekomen in Australië.
We wensen vader en zoon samen heel veel geluk toe en voldoende privacy en rust bij het weer oppakken van hun dagelijkse leven en de schoolgang van Andrew.
